01The four steps

An overview before the detail.

The full timeline from intro call to a managed, growing pipeline is usually 3–5 weeks. Here’s how that breaks down.

01

Free strategy call

15 minutes. I look at your site, your competitors, and where leads come from today. You leave with a real list, even if you never hire me.

~ 15 minutes
02

Plan & proposal

Flat-fee proposal with scope, timeline, and the metrics we’ll move. No retainers buried in fine print. Read it on your own time.

~ 48 hours
03

Build & launch

Site and tracking go live. Ads spin up the same week with conservative budgets while we learn what wins.

2–4 weeks total
04

Manage & grow

Weekly optimization, monthly review on a real call. We scale what works and kill what doesn’t. Plain-English reporting.

Ongoing
02In detail

What each step actually looks like.

No mystery, no “process consultations.” Here’s what you’ll be doing, what I’ll be doing, and what you’ll have at the end of each stage.

Step 01  ·  ~15 min

Free strategy call

We get on Zoom for 15 minutes. I pull up your site live, look at your top three competitors, and walk you through what I see: what’s costing you leads today and what I’d do about it. No slides, no pitch.

  • What you bring: your site URL and rough monthly lead count.
  • What I bring: live audit, competitor scan, one or two ideas.
  • What you leave with: a short list of things to fix, even if you never hire me.
Step 02  ·  ~48 hrs

Plan & proposal

If we’re a fit, within 48 hours you get a written proposal: scope, deliverables, timeline, flat price, and the specific metrics we’ll be tracking. Read it on your own time. Ask me anything. Sign when you’re ready.

  • One-page proposal. No consulting-firm packet.
  • Clear scope with what’s in and what’s out.
  • 50/50 payment terms, no setup retainers.
Step 03  ·  2–4 weeks

Build & launch

Design, content, build, tracking, QA, launch. You see the work in progress at the end of week one and end of week two. Ads can go live the same week the site launches, or we wait if you want to let the site settle first.

  • Week 1: design direction, copy outline, sitemap.
  • Week 2: full build, mobile QA, tracking install.
  • Week 3–4: launch, ad accounts wired, first campaigns live.
Step 04  ·  ongoing

Manage & grow

Once live, I tune the campaigns weekly and the site monthly. You get a real reply within hours, a real working session monthly, and a real plain-English report. Never an auto-generated dashboard PDF.

  • Weekly: bids, creative, negative keywords, landing page tweaks.
  • Monthly: 30-minute strategy call + written recap.
  • Quarterly: full account audit and offer refresh.
03Common questions

What people ask before signing.

If we agree on scope this week, kickoff is usually the following Monday. I take on a small number of clients each month so quality stays high.
Websites are flat fee, one-time. Ad management is month-to-month with 30 days notice to cancel. No long-term lock-in either way.
Many clients do. We’ll audit it on the strategy call and decide together whether to optimize what you have or rebuild it. Often the answer is “rebuild” but not always.
I do. The person you talk to on the strategy call is the same person designing your site and running your ads. No subcontractors, no offshore teams.
Local service businesses doing roughly $250K–$10M in annual revenue. Below that, the spend usually doesn’t pencil. Above that, you may want an in-house team.
Yes. Website design and ad management are separate services. Most clients eventually run both, but there’s no requirement to bundle them.

Step one is free and takes 15 minutes. Everything else only happens if you want it to.

No commitment past the call. No retainer to start. If we’re not a fit I’ll tell you and point you somewhere that is.
